Orders & Shipping

How long does delivery take?
We ship nationwide across South Africa. Most orders are delivered within 2-5 business days, depending on your location. Orders placed before 2 PM on weekdays are usually processed the next day. You'll receive a tracking number once your order ships.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, we only ship within South Africa. We're working on expanding to international shipping soon. Subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when international shipping becomes available.
What are the shipping costs?
We offer FREE shipping on orders over R1800. For orders under R1800, standard shipping is R110. Express shipping options are available upon request.
Can I track my order?
Yes! Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with your tracking number and a link to track your package. You can also track your order by logging into your account and viewing your order history.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for unopened products only. The item must be in its original packaging and unused. Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened fragrances. Please see our Shipping & Returns Policy for full details.
How do I return an item?
To initiate a return, please contact us at orders@scentlibrary.co.za with your order number and reason for return. We'll provide you with return instructions and a return authorization number. Items must be returned within 7 days in their original, unopened condition.
How long do refunds take?
Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. The refund will be credited to your original payment method. Please allow an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

Products & Authenticity

Are your fragrances authentic?
Absolutely! We source all our fragrances directly from authorized distributors and official brand partners. Every product we sell is 100% authentic and comes with a guarantee of authenticity. We never sell counterfeit or imitation products.
How should I store my fragrances?
Store your fragrances in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Avoid bathrooms where humidity can affect the scent. Keep bottles tightly closed when not in use. Proper storage can help maintain the fragrance's quality for years.
How long do perfumes last?
When stored properly, most fragrances can last 3-5 years. The longevity depends on the concentration (Eau de Parfum lasts longer than Eau de Toilette) and storage conditions. If a fragrance changes color significantly or develops an off smell, it may have expired.
Do you offer samples?
We're working on offering sample sizes and discovery sets. Subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when samples become available. In the meantime, our customer service team can help you choose the perfect fragrance based on your preferences.

Payment & Account

What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept bank transfers (EFT). Secure online payment options via PayFast are coming soon! You'll be able to pay with credit/debit cards, Instant EFT, and other popular payment methods.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes! We use industry-standard SSL encryption to protect your personal and payment information. We never store your full banking details on our servers. All transactions are processed securely through trusted payment providers.
Do I need an account to place an order?
Yes, you need to create an account to place an order. This allows you to track your orders, save your shipping addresses, and access exclusive member benefits. Creating an account is quick, free, and secure.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Click on "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter your email address and we'll send you instructions to reset your password. If you don't receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact us at info@scentlibrary.co.za.
